10 Questions about “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb"
1. What does “The Spiral of Life”, “The Peace Bomb” represent?
As far as I know, this work was the first bomb of peace. In 1973, just before the work was completed, I saw that
not only was there war in Vietnam, there was war throughout the world. There were acts of terror happening
everywhere that created casualties through out the world. Shrapnel was in the air, in many places throughout the
world. This phenomenon was not so prominent then, however I had the insight to know it would expand, even to the
USA. To have a counter balance Stewart created this work. It was created to give everyone the opportunity to see
first hand a symbolic structure of the soul, as a light source at the center of
the heart. In the heart center resides the
light (the spark) of life, known as the diamond
center. This is the light that gives life and awakens the
consciousness of the self.
2. Why
build this work?
It started from a vision in 1967 after the Vietnam war had begun. Through a series of events over a period of ten
years, Stewart was able to look inward and visualize the light in the center of the heart. He knew if he could create
a three-dimensional work that represented the soul, then all could see the wonderful beauty, energy and symmetry
that exists within us all. Stewart would create an appreciation for the understanding the life forces that exist
within us all. If one sits within the aura of “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb" its magic would be enlightening
and healing. His vision has proved true over the years. The space under the pyramid is truly a healing place and
provides a sanctuary for pure peace.
3.
What does it represent?
The sculpture is a symbol of unity, a coming together of the positive forces of nature for the enlightenment of
all. The work exists in a state of non-duality. The work sits in a state of Love, Peace and Silence. It is non-
judgmental and radiates the healing force of life. It is a symbolic creation of the soul of life. It has the
qualities of the yin and yang forces that exert influences on us all. The spiral that surrounds the work
represents the serpent energy as in kundalini yoga. The flow of energy rises through the chakra stem as seen
in the ascending levels of the work. In Tibetan studies there are 9 major chakra centers. In this work there
are, with the bottom and top, 9 levels or centers. Each major center has a special purpose, energy, color, and
vibration. Within the steel spiral is the vortex. Within the vortex are placed symbols and signs that give us
mathematical keys to the mysteries of man and the universe. These signs and symbols are represented by the
whole numbers, one through nine. (See “The Spiral of Life” and The Mystical Pyramid for an explanation of
the numbers.)
4. How does “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb" work?
"The Peace Bomb" is a spiral of steel 60 inches in height and 24 inches
in diameter. It hangs in a chrome
steel pyramid nine feet in height and eleven square foot at the base. There is a cap of polished chrome steel
at the peak. The dimensions are of the great pyramid in Egypt. Cosmic energy flows along the
lines of the pyramid and are brought in to “The Spiral of Life” through a vortex created within the pyramid.
There is a block of Russian Green Siberian jade that sits under the spiral with a black-quartz sphere on top.
This to refine, reinforce and purify the energy flow. Around the spiral there is a reversal of magnetic energy.
The vortex in "The Peace Bomb" is a place of pure peace. This balanced, transmuted energy is given off as
the aura. Those in its field can feel and take advantage of this positive and healing force. The power to heal is
present at all times.
5. Who is "Major Five"?
As Stewart worked on completing “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb", he
was contacted by a spirit of the
omniverse, " Major5", who helped bring the work to completion. Major Five, a living entity appeared to
Stewart in 1971. A voice spoke to Stewart saying to him, "this is Major Five", "We need your help". "There are
symbols of positive forces we wish to place in this world". "It is for the future of peace for all mankind". "If
you help us we will help you". "Visions will be sent, create these visions and they will spread the energy of
positive and peaceful vibrations through out the world". "These visions will appear to you from time to time".
"We thank you, we love you and we appreciate your devotion and help on this journey to a more peaceful
existence.” Stewart said he would help and there are now thousands of works scattered throughout the world.
"Major Five" is, a living spirit, a living energy force with cognition, understanding and consciousness. The
symbols in the works are programmed to spread peaceful positive energy throughout the omniverse. The
omniverse is comprised of multiple universes. You might say “Major Five" is a doctor of space and time.
6. This all seems pretty philosophical in nature. What does it mean to the
average person?
In the future enlightenment will be an attainable state of mind for all. Enlightenment is spatial thinking.
It is opening the mind to see that we are all part of a great and wonderful space in this universe. All of our
consciousness stems from the same source. This awakening starts out small and grows through the
passage of time. It is the spiritual awakening of humanity. Advaita Vedanta and Neo-Advaita (the
philosophy of non-dualism) is the way of the new awakened consciousness and enlightenment.
7. How does "The Peace Bomb" bring energies together?
My wife Pattea and I traveled the
world from the South Pacific to Siberia for 30 years. We distributed
and planted works of art, stars of gold, brass, and chrome
in secret places and not so secret places. The metal,
stone, glass and
wood we used were always kept in proximity to “The Spiral of Life”, “The Peace Bomb” for
it's energies present. Our lives are
bound together with the aura of this. The “Spiral of Life”, “The
Peace
Bomb” is the center of all the works we have done to date and in the future. “The Peace Bomb”,
“The
Spiral of Life” creates in reality a replica of the earth’s magnetic field that is
replicated in each of us.
8.The center mirrored dodecahedron in “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb"
consists of 12
interlaced 5-pointed stars.
What is the significance of these 5-pointed stars?
The five pointed-star is especially prominent to me. Man is a series of
fives. We have five fingers on each
hand. Five toes on each foot. Five holes in our faces. We have five main upper organs and five main lower
organs. There are five extremities. In numerology five is the center of
the whole numbers, just as man is the
center of his universe. The pyramid has five faces.
9. Where can "The Spiral of Life", "The Peace Bomb" be seen?
The works now reside at 101 Smithwood Ave., Catonsville, Maryland.
Where we are now
holding satsang
on a weekly basis. The goal is to fine a path to enlightenment
and awareness in this presence. As a
expression of this philosophy we observe
the teachings of Bagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, Eckhart Tolle, the "I
Ching", "The
Four Agreements", and other wonderful teachers and writers. We also discuss art and
health
related
energies, longevity and diet. Please e-mail
major5@starsart.com for information or call 410-788-2696.
Satsang is guided by Stewart Stars Saxton, the creator of the "Spiral of Life", and the "Eye of the Mind"
,an enlightened, aware soul of the cosmos.
10. What would you like “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace Bomb" to
say and be 100
years
from now?
We hope to see a world at peace, where all people live in harmony and
awareness. Where the basic needs of
all persons are fulfilled. In that future world it would be great if it was said of “The Spiral of Life”, "The Peace
Bomb" that the person
who created this work had a vision of the future that came to be. If this work plays a
part in having this happen it is Stewart's dream come true. It is not so important who created it, but that it
was created. We believe in the future and hope we will see more of the healing, cosmic energies, that I have
been so very fortunate to envision and embrace. May all of us be so fortunate as to have these energies
improve, and put more peace and love in our lives.
* Peace * Love
* Understanding * Prosperity * Happiness *
